This smart classically designed Mini Cooper, powered by a 1275cc unit, was first registered in 01/2001. It is seen here on Whitehaven quayside, on 30/04/2022, when on display at the excellent 'Leyland National 50' event, organised by the Workington Transport Heritage Trust, to commemorate fifty years since the entry into service of the first National to be constructed at the Lillyhall plant that is situated near Workington. There were several non-Leyland National vehicles here that had brought enthusiast groups with them and also, as seen here, some non-buses too. © Peter Steel 2022.
