Two of the then main bus operators in Manchester's buses are seen here side by side on display at the Trans-Lancs Transport Show, Heaton Park, Manchester, on 04/09/2011. I say main operators as First have now retreated somewhat with their operations from the Queens Road depot now being run by Go-Ahead North West, the Bury depot by Diamond North West, leaving just the Oldham depot being run by First.
First Manchester, 69256, BD11CEY, is a Wright Eclipse Urban 2 bodied Volvo B7RLE, new to First Manchester, in 06/2011, while alongside is Stagecoach Manchester 36430, MX11HHF, an all ADL Enviro 200. It was new, in 05/2011. © Peter Steel 2011.
