Half-cab variety

Standing out from the crowd is preserved Clydeside Scottish RM835, WLT835, an AEC/PRV Routemaster R2RH - Park Royal. New to London Transport(RM835), in 07/1961, it is preserved in Clydeside Scottish livery having been one of the many Routemasters to have operated in the Glasgow area at de-regulation. Nearest the camera, on the left of the photo, is Cumbria Classic Coaches, Ravenstonedale, former Lancashire United 440, MTJ84, a Roe bodied Guy Arab Mk.III. New to Lancashire United(440), in 05/1951, and whose livery it is restored in, albeit with Cumbria Classic Coaches fleetnames as well, while hiding, on the right of the photo, is, preserved South Yorkshire, Pontefract, 61 GWT630, an Albion Valkyrie CX13 with Burlingham coachwork, new in 12/1947. They are seen here at Grand Prix Coaches, Brough, when taking part in heritage services at the Eden Classic Vehicle Weekend, on 24/04/2011. © Peter Steel 2011.
