London Buses - London Central - RML2332 CUV332C - AEC/PRV Routemaster R2RH/1 - Park Royal

New to the country area of London Transport in 11/1965, this smart RML is seen here at Marble Arch, heading for Shepheards Bush Green, in early 11/1992. When new, it was based at Godstone and being one of those transferred to London Country, in 01/1970. In 12/1977 it passed back into the hands of London Transport and was fitted with a Cummins engine in 1990. It was privatised to London Central in 09/1994 working out of New Cross. In 02/2006 it was among a number exported to Canada being bought by Ambassatours, Halifax, Nova Scotia, prior to passing to Absolute Charters, also of Halifax. Following on behind is standard Routemaster RM1214, 214CLT. New to London Transport in 12/1962, this RM, seen here with London United, still exists and is now with the Old Red Bus Company, Rochester, mainly for Wedding hires, having also worked for the Halifax JOC and Yorkshire Heritage Bus Company, so in effect, both of these Routemasters have worked in Halifax. RM1214 in England while RML2332 is in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada!

The camera being a Praktica MTL3 with the film being the excellent 'Fujichrome' colourslide.
