London Buses - East London - 'King Charles II' RMA5 NMY635E - AEC/PRV Routemaster R2RH/2 - Park Royal

New in 01/1967 to BEA, Ruislip, numbered 8242 then BEA35, the forward entrance/exit Routemaster was among a number that were operated with luggage trailers on a service from Victoria to London Heathrow Airport by BEA but maintained by London Transport. Several were then later acquired by London Transport for use as Driver Trainers and had their staircases removed but a few were later converted back for public use. This nice example is seen here on A1211 Aldgate High Street, on 24/08/1992, arriving at it's stop near Aldgate Bus Station. It has since been fitted with offside doors and exported to Portugal.

The camera being a Praktica MTL3 with the film being a Boots colourslide.
