London Buses - Harrow Buses - LS350 - AYR350T - Leyland National 10351A/2R
Harrow Buses was set up by London Buses as a low cost operating unit in an effort to compete with the new private operators entering the market to compete for tender, however, these units were not overly successful, due to unreliable service, and industrial disputes due to lower pay rates than for the main London units, their routes being quickly surrendered to other units or private operators. New to London Transport(LS350), in 09/1979, this is one of a trio of Nationals seen here at Harrow Bus Station in 05/1990. A fourth National can be just seen in the background.
The camera was a Praktica MTL3.
