London Buses M1 THX101S MCW Metrobus DR101/3 - Metro-Cammell
The pioneer. Numero uno! New in 04/1978, this was the first in a batch of five for trial by London Transport and actually arrived numbered MT1. They must have been pleased as in various models they numbered 1,442! A further 43 were bought new and secondhand for tendered services. M1 is seen here at Victoria loading for Neasden in 12/1988. It is now preserved with Ensignbus.
