Hodgson's Travel, Millom, E591EEO DAF SB2305DHS585 - Duple 340
New in 01/1988, this solitary example in the Hodgson's fleet was only three months old when seen here on Hawcoat Lane, Barrow-in-Furness, in 04/1988. It was opposite the then named Vickers Sports Club, a social club supported by the town's major employer, the shipyard. After subsidies by the now shipyard owner BAE Systems, ended, it is now named Hawcoat Park Social Club. The event at the time was a Cumbria Junior Track and Field event I seem to recall. Notice the different fleetname application to the other two coaches from the same operator a little further back in my photostream.
The camera was a Praktica MTL3.
