Preserved Chase Bus Services, Chase Terrace, 43 OJD868R Leyland National 10351A/2R
A neat conversion from dual-doors, this was new to London Transport in 06/1977 numbered LS68 and now preserved in it's last operators colours, Chase being a popular National operator and it's two for the price of one here as to the right is preserved Widnes Corporation Transport, 1, RTC645L, a 1151/1R/0101 model, new to Widnes in 08/1972. It was the first Leyland National supplied to a Municipal operator and Widnes also took the last. They are seen here on display at the North West Museum of Road Transport, St. Helens, at their Spring Open & Bus Running Day, on 04/03/2018. © Peter Steel 2018.
