London Buses on parade - Aldgate Bus Station

Even though it was small, the Aldgate Bus Station still always seemed to have room for buses on layover. Here, five are seen awaiting their next duties. Three Titans, a Metrobus, and a Routemaster. Furthest away is T160, CUL160V, a Park Royal bodied Leyland Titan TNLXB2RRSp, new to London Transport in 02/1980. This is awaiting departure for Becontree Heath. Second from the far end T400, KYV400X, a Leyland bodied Leyland Titan TNLXB2RR, new to London Transport in 01/1982 and is ready for a trip to North Woolwich. Third from right is T145, CUL145V, a Park Royal bodied Leyland TNLXB2RRSp, new to London Transport in 01/1980, this like T160 is off to Becontree Heath but by way of a different route. Second from left is M792, KYV792X, a Metro-Cammell bodied MCW Metrobus DR101/14, new to LT in 03/1982, based at Stamford Hill, it would head through it's home area to Wood Green. Nearest the camera is RM2213, CUV213C, an AEC/PRV Routemaster R2RH, new to LT in 05/1965.

The film was Agfa Colourslide. The camera being a Praktica MTL3.
