Preserved London Transport RM's.

On the left is RM40, VLT40, a Park Royal bodied AEC/PRV Routemaster R2RH. New to London Transport in 08/1959, this resplendent RM is seen here at the 2016 Wirral Bus & Tram Show, Shore Road, Birkenhead, on 02/10/2016, alongside preserved alongside open-top RM1783, 783DYE. New to LT in 1961, this smart RM is now owned and operated by www.routemaster4hire.co.uk from Llay, Wrexham(Please see update by clicking on link) having also been operated by Rees Industries (Liverpool) for use at Liverpool Garden Festival in 1986 following conversion to open-top at Aldenham. It was re-acquired by London Buses in 1987 and allocated to the sightseeing fleet. It then passed to Bath Bus Co. then bought by Western Greyhound for their heritage fleet. © Peter Steel 2016.
