Preserved London Transport classics.
On the left is one of the many Routemaster RML's that are now in preservation, RML2452, JJD452D, a Park Royal bodied R2RH/1 model, new in 05/1966, while on the right is RTL1050, LLU829, a Leyland 7RT, also with Park Royal bodywork and new in 09/1950. The Leyland version of the RT was nowhere near as numerous as the AEC version. They are seen here on display at the 2016 Trans-Lancs Vehicle Show, Heaton Park, Manchester, on 04/09/2016. © Peter Steel 2016.
