Westlink was a low cost subsidiary set up in 08/1986 by London Regional Transport, being privatised in 01/1994 and sold to London United in 09/1995. It was formed to operate tendered services in South West and West London. Routes operated included 81, 116, 117, 131, 203, 216, 371, 411, H20, H23, K1, K2, K3, K4 and K6 and depots were operated in Hounslow Heath and Kingston-upon-Thames. New in 06/1987, this Metrorider served a little over twelve months in Kingston prior to being transferred to North Street, Romford and worked on 'Hornchurch Hoppa' services. From 09/1990, it then had a bit of a nomadic existence in the London area prior to moving to Wales in 06/1992 to work for Parfitts, Rhymney Bridge. It is seen here about to leave Kingston Depot and Bus Station in 06/1988.
