Reading Transport 422 OCU773R Scania Metropolitan BR111DH - Metro-Cammell
As mentioned in the previous photo, by late May/early June 1988, when this photo was taken, Reading Transport had built up a collection of these diesel guzzling Metropolitans, this one being new to Tyne & Wear PTE(773), in 04/1977. It is seen here loading on Station Hill, Reading, outside the main railway station.
The camera was a Praktica MTL3.
