Whatever your thoughts are about the Routemaster, these are the icon of the British double-decker bus to people all over the World. One of the many now in preservation is this example, looking immaculate and restored to the Leaside Buses operation of parent London Buses. New to London Transport, in 10/1967, this was one of the later deliveries. Now owned by the Chorley based RML2716 Group, it is seen here at Heysham, having arrived from Carnforth, via Morecambe, when operating a heritage service for the RVPT Running Day, on 25/05/2014. © Peter Steel 2014.
