Lockheed L-1011 Tristar
Coming in for its final ever landing. It was saved from the scrapper to become KC's largest museum peice. Flown from Roswell, NM to Kansas City, MO on Saturday Jan 30th, 2010.
Including this plane only 3 remaining of the 250 that were ever built can fly. This one had a one way ticket from the bone yard. (I have since read that maybe up to 9 can fly. That's still not many. So I guess the number is now 2 to 9ish).
