Tiny Snow Flakes

I went out to go for a drive today and while cleaning off the car, realized how fluffy the new snow we got last night was. I decided to cut my drive short and go get my macro gear from inside and find a black background for snow flakes. I had to laugh as I sprinkled the first flakes on the black plastic because they started to melt right away. I had to chill the plastic so the snow wouldn't melt and then tossed a small amount on the board. It was tougher than I expected to find good crystals. I sprinkled different snow on my background probably 20 times to get these shots.

These photos were made with only an old 28mm wide angle lens on my D5000 with a reverse ring.
