Neighbor kids modeling the desk for me
Found this desk curbside, sold it on ebay and shipped it to Texas. We had this type of desk at my grade school that was built in 1955+/-. I spent a good part of my life sitting in one of these. Eating lunch at it, sleeping on it, drawing on it etc. We had assigned seats and kept out junk under the seat. I also worked after school and had to push these around to sweep and mop and had to wash them in the summer time. I also remember helping to resurface the tops of many of them with new Formica.
