Dukes of Hazzard Police Car
This is a police car from the Dukes of Hazzard tv show. It has the markings of the fictional Hazzard County Georgia Sheriff's Department. We saw this car at Cooter's Place in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The car is a late 1970's Plymouth Gran Fury. This was a popular police car of the era, and cars like this were driven by Roscoe and Enos on the show. I don't know if this is a replica or an original car used in the show. This particular car was never a real police car. It has a vinyl top which has been painted white.
Behind this car is a replica of Cooter's tow truck. There is also a replica of the General Lee which is not visible in this photo. Inside the building is a gift shop and a collection of original props, costumes, and memorabilia from the Duke's of Hazzard show.
