USAE United States Forces - Afghanistan

This patch is worn by the United States Army Element of the United States Forces in Afghanistan.

 

This patch was originally authorized in May 2008 for use by the U.S. Army Element, Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan. In December 2008 this unit was redesignated the US Army Element, United States Forces-Afghanistan. Prior to May 2008 the USAE Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan used a different patch.
