All of the gun photos were done with environmental lighting, (in fact all of the photos in this set with the exception of the key, were done with existing lighting) a hand held Kiev 60 with the Mir 38B wide open. I explained to bill, who has had his collection photographed before, that I was not going for "Gun Porn" or "Gun Glamor" but more of a gritty old school evidence photo or mug shot feel. BTW they're placed on a 1975 desk, scratches & ink marks left in all their glory.
