SLIDE SCANNING PROJECT

"Walking to Work", , ,Another old slide from 1969. . .Shot at St. Louis-Lambert Airport. American Airlines began changing its "orange stripe" paint scheme in 1968. They continued to use the name "Astrojet" for a while until 1970 when they began naming their first 747's "Astroliners". In 1971 the new branding became "Luxury Liners" which lasted until around 1999. Like many of my old slides, this one was in pretty bad shape. But I liked the two pilots strolling to their waiting plane so I did some "effects" work on it to give it a little life after 54 years.
