Another view of the "Madras Maiden" B-17 on display at Jabara Airport in Wichita in early June. . .I'm always amazed at the bravery of the men who climbed into the "ball turret" position seen here under the fuselage. . .They really had no protection from enemy fighters. . .The word "brave" somehow doesn't even begin to describe the character of those guys. . .
