Reach for the light

I shot this because in the language of flowers, a fern can symbolize confidence, the subject this week for my challenge group. But then I find out this is not a fern. It's a lily (???) commonly known as an asparagus fern. Okay.....

Since it is also a repellant to deer, rabbits, squirrels, heat and drought, I guess we can live with that.
