To clarify: Ford's Mustang was indeed the first 'pony car', but 1968 was actually the Mustang's fourth year (or fifth, if you count 1964 production separately). All I'm trying to say is that the Mustang is "the original pony car"!!!!
Incidentally . . . that back bumper looks rather delicate, does it not? Wouldn't want to get rear-ended in one of these!
