1970 Dodge Coronet 500
I'm pretty sure I've got the year correct, and I THINK it's a Coronet. At any rate, it must be a fairly rare car, because I can't remember seeing one before (other than perhaps when they were new, at which time I was in high school and had other concerns-----cars in general were barely on my radar in those days). The Dodge of that era that gets the attention today is the Charger, with its dramatic C-pillar and rear window styling. The Coronet, I suppose, was considered a bit of a plain jane by comparison, although that's hardly the case now. This red and white hardtop is a total extrovert-----a real attention-grabber!
