1966 Thunderbird Town Landau with new full-width tail light assembly. That thin surrounding bumper would have been, I'd imagine, a relatively fragile design. Also hampering the practicality of this vehicle were its massive weight (well over 4000 lbs.) and an absurdly wide C-pillar that eliminated the rear quarter windows found on other models. That latter feature would have been great for privacy, but it would also have made the car something of a nightmare in terms of visibility for the driver.
