It’s chilly and wet today but i chose not to wear any winter boots instead going with these darlings. I saw them in a catalog and i passed on them a few times despite the static photos and the models showing them with the laces tucked in, as i am here as i couldn’t justify yet another pair of black ankle boots but curiousity got the better of me and i bought these in taupe to see if the laces were legit or just for show and i’m happy to say they are genuine & the manufacturer has the laces tucked inside and long enough to tie them traditionally if one wanted to. I don’t however. Right out of the box is just fine for me & they’re really comfortable and easy to walk and run in. I like these so much i went back and ordered the black too!

 

I paired them with black opaque hose, a tan skirt & black turtleneck.
