Ford Consul in Bisbee

The car above is a Generation 1 Consul, made by Ford of Britain during 1951-1956. It was a modern car in its day, with the pontoon style body, unit body construction and the first to utilize MacPherson strut front suspension.

Not a typical Ford one sees in the US but it was sold here through certain Ford dealers in the US and Canada.

This one has the flag of New Zealand displayed but it features left hand drive suggesting that its flag plate is displayed for some other reason than origin of the car.
