Red Ford F-1 Pickup for 1952 and Wayne 60 Gasoline Pump

The 1st Generation of Ford’s F series of pickups were offered during the model years of 1948-1952.

The Wayne 60 computing gasoline pumps came into use circa 1935. They featured a visible, whirling flow indicator near the top while the volume and calculated cost of the gasoline dispensed was displayed on the main panel.

Between the flow telltale and the display is the ‘Atlantic’ brand name of gasoline. Atlantic Refining merged with Richfield Oil in 1966 to form Atlantic Richfield Company, selling gasoline with the ARCO brand name. That brand name exists still today as part of Marathon Petroleum Corporation..
