Valiant Signet for 1966 in a Gold Color at Rock Point
The Second Generation Plymouth Valiant spanned from model years 1963-66. The ‘Signet’ level was the highest level of trim. This one also appears to have a 'V8' emblem on the side of the fender, just ahead of the driver's door. That would have originally been a 273 cubic inch V8. At that time it would have been the least expensive V8-powered car offered in the US.
The first generation of Barracuda, Plymouth’s ponycar, was derived directly from this generation of Valiant.
