My friend John D., one of the plant's Senior Inspectors, uses a magnifier to examine the palm of his hand.
This wasn't at John's desk. It belonged to our mutual colleague and friend Gerald L. John was simply sitting there to visit with me a bit. During the conversation he noticed that Gerald had a combo paperweight/magnifier on his desk. John picked it up during the course of our discussion and then began to simultaneously examine his hand. The scene seemed funny to me so I quickly snapped a photo.
