Morning Scheduling Class at Los Alamitos High
Circa 1972. Computer-assisted flexible scheduling was a unique process at Los Al High since its inception in Fall of 1967. One's schedule of classes differed daily depending upon whether the material for a given class that day required 15, 35 or 55 minutes to cover. The first module or 'mod' of the day was spent in ones scheduling class. Those who earned a 'B' average or better were allowed to rearrange their schedules.
Math teacher Mr. Gerald Beach shown here reviewing/approving students' schedules was my scheduling session teacher for 10th and 11th Grades.
