Cathedral Santo Domingo, Cusco, Peru

Begun in 1559 on the site of a destroyed Incan Temple, the Kiswarkancha. The cathedral was constructed using Incan labour and finished in 1654. The bricks are said to have been formed by stones, removed from the holy site of Sacsayhuaman, not far from the city center.
