Runway, Vang Vieng, Vientiane Province, Laos

An old American air base from the war, once dubbed Lima site 6. This runway helped grow the town into a significant stopover for tourists. This jeep may very well date back to those early days. Though considering how heavily mined Laos is as a result of American bombing this runway no doubt holds a sinister side.
