The Museum of the Revolution (former Presidential Palace under Batista), Havana, Cuba

On March 13, 1957 Jose Antonio Echevarria, leader of the Directorio Revolutionario, in partnership with Autentico party members organized an assault on the Presidential Palace. At approximately 3:20pm nearly 50 men appeared in 2 cars and a red truck marked 'fast delivery', the latter of which is currently displayed behind said palace along Castro's famous Granma yacht. Firing sub machine guns they quickly forced their way into the palace and just missed Batista himself, whose coffee is said to have been found cooling on his desk by the would be assassins.
