Faulty Qualcast 1400W Electric Rotary Mower (Model MEB1434M), 8 June 17
I was getting tired of having to make running repairs on my ancient Chevron Flymo lawnmower so I thought It was about time I bought myself a new one. The closest equivalent I could find in my local Homebase was the Qualcast 1400W Electric Rotary Mower.
Unfortunately the grass-collector box fell apart during its very first outing. Specifically one of the pins that connect two jointed bars that form part of the frame sheared (intact and failed joints are shown in the photo).
So I can either go through the tedious process of returning it to the store, or start running repairs on my brand new Qualcast mower from day one!
