Outside a tourist store in Watson Lake, Yukon Territory, July 4, 2006. Watson Lake is best-known as home of the signpost forest, where people traveling the Alaska Highway leave momentos of their journey. The sign leaning on the wall once stood next to the signpost forest.
Other than the signpost forest, there's not much in Watson Lake worth stopping for. We ate at a greaseburger joint that wasn't very good and stayed at a noisy campground.
