Des Plaines
There are gaps where an adventurous person can slip through the broken chain link fence at the cemetery and look at the Des Plaines River. The fog makes this look more isolated than it is. The bridge carrying the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) over the Des Plaines is immediately behind me. That light shining through the fog on the river's opposite bank is attached to one of the buildings in the sprawling Cook County judicial center in the community of Maywood. I had to go over there once when I first moved to Chicago to take care of a traffic ticket.
