Cannon Beach, Oregon: it was foggy and a little smoky from the forest fires...

but, that did not keep people from enjoying the beach... these beaches are very wide and they extend often for miles, tides are extensive, and there are sneaker waves that come up and grab someone once in a very long while, and the person disappears, can be a child, a dog, even more than one person at a time... spoils the fun and the peace... to know or not to know, what is best...
