Disturbing beaver anatomy

The last time I posted pictures of this creature, there was some debate about whether it was a beaver or a hamster. Upon closer inspection, I have identified a hamster-like tail, but dissection reveals the creature also posses a beaver-tail like structure attached to the ventral side. This flap-like appendage alarmed pretty much everyone who saw it.
