NORAD 60th United States 2

Day two with the engineers and pilots of the USCG/NORAD helicopter intercept squadron. I got straight into it, with the engineers working on one of the HH-65C helicopters in the Hangar 5 at Reagan Washington International, in Virginia. A number of mechanics were climbing all over her, but the one working on something out of sight, with his body buried in the back hatch, and just a set of legs sticking out caught my attention first. It was obvious immediately that he wasn't going to stay that way for long, but having his head out of sight meant he didn't realise I was there drawing. And Like I always say to beginner reportage artists, "you have to start the sketch in order to finish the sketch." So just draw. In the end he stayed still just long enough.
