La La's Simple Shawl

Yarn: MySweetSpot2 handspun, Handu Laamasilkki

Needles: 3,5 mm

 

Modifications: did only 2 repeats of the stockinette stitch pattern after the lace row (to get the lace in the middle of the stockinette), added a wide garter stitch edge

 

So, the sock kick has been replaced by a shawl one. It's a good thing you can knit shawls with sock yarn too.

 

This shawl is all about the lovely yarns – I love the warm yellows and browns, and they even look good near my face. Who knew I could wear yellow?
