Turnagain Arm

We landed in Anchorage later in the evening and then drove down to visit my brother and his wife in Homer, the next morning. The Turnagain Arm was our first glimpse of the "Ruthless Beauty", that is Alaska, a term we would continue to use during our visit. The tide was low and you can spot the silhouette of the mountain's reflection in the foreground.
