Tonight's photos are similar with regard to a channel of water. One, a familiar scene in my photostream of the Chicago River cutting through the River North neighborhood and the second, a much smaller waterway running to a boil residing in the center of an adorned planter at the Chicago Botanic Gardens.
The "Shake A Leg" boat is actually a water taxi - sometimes you can get from one side of the city faster on one of these than you can in a regular street taxi. It certainly has better views.
For whatever reason, the Brown Line just stopped where you see it here for about a minute - plenty of time to get a good shot taken. Although, it would be pretty cool to take a shot from inside the train while stuck on top of the Wells Street Bridge!
Enjoy!
