Frozen Chicago

There was a fairly strong wind from the north that gave some good movement to the clouds and stuff all the mini-icebergs in Lake Michigan to the south side of the little bay area in front of Shedd Aquarium - which is the vantage point of this shot. It looks like Lake Shore Drive has all green lights, vroom vroom!

It is also interesting to note the differences between the old sodium lamps with their reddish hue in much of the city versus the whiter/bluer LED lamps up and down the walkway of the lake. There is a sodium lamp just outside the frame on the lower right which really got that corner's ice floating in the water to brighten up.

Enjoy!
