Buzz

A few years ago I bought a large Buzz Lightyear action figure from a charity shop and I took him to work with me for the many children who visit to play with.

 

One day a family with five kids came in and the children ransacked my box of toys and played happily until it was time for them to leave.

 

When I was showing them out I reclaimed the toys from each of their small hands.

 

Sadly I didn't think to frisk their father and as soon as I went back into my office I saw that Buzz was gone.

 

I was devastated and gobsmacked in equal measure. Devastated for the loss of Buzz and gobsmacked for the example that father was setting to his children.

 

Last week Laura bought me a new Buzz.
