What a difference a week makes!
Last week, I walked on the ice in this swamp. Yesterday I was swimming in it. Don't let the warm weather fool you, winter's still not gone yet. The canoe is sitting low in the water because it's half full of water. I got sloppy and tipped the canoe over. It was a chore and a half to get the canoe into the shallows. I towed it back later with the rowboat and then I dumped the water out. I didn't really feel the cold until after I got out of the water. My hands were numb. I'm sure I coughed up a fish.
