Danielle's quilt
Tomorrow we are having a baby shower for my daughter, Danielle. She now has under 4 weeks until little Ella is born and this is the cot quilt I have made as a present for her. I love applique and when we travel, I always take prepared squares to blanket stitch and then I can make them into a quilt at my leisure. The top photo is a composite of the squares that I did for the quilt before sewing it together and it is backed with the purple that is used in the edging.
Danielle is slowly recovering from her rib injury, but sometimes it seems to be two steps forward and one back. I just hope she is recovered enough for when the baby is born.
