Back from the Bay
We have arrived back home from our trip to Hervey Bay in Queensland a day early. We were going to stay another night with our friends on their property near Inverell, but after steady rain during Friday night and this morning we were told that if the rain continued, the 15 klms of dirt road leading from the property may become too difficult to negotiate without a four wheel drive. Whilst we were sad to leave, the rain is much needed, as they have just planted their crops.
